H&J MARINE INC. (previously known as HIONG GUAN NAVEGACION JAPAN CO., LTD.) was established in Japan in 1958 as a subsidiary of HIONG GUAN NAVEGACION CO., LTD. in Hong Kong. The company provides a wide-range of ship management services including safety management, crew manning, and handling claims for HIONG GUAN NAVEGACION CO., LTD. and other shipowners.

In compliance with the requirements of the International Management Code for the Safe Operation of Ships and for Pollution Prevention (the ISM Code) adopted by IMO in 1993, the company obtained the DOC (Document of Compliance) in June 1997. Since then, it has been consistently trusted by the shipowners as a reliable management company which fully meets the international standard. In 2012, the Ship Safety Control Department was set up to further improve the level of safety management.The company renewed its name to H&J MARINE INC. in July 2019 and keeps moving forward to provide enhanced ship management and broking services with valued clients and partners from all parts of the world.
